Doug Smith

Vice President of Marketing Strategy

Doug started with DMR/Interactive in 2014 following more than 20 years in radio, most recently in sales and sales management with Hubbard Interactive and Foster Communications.  

Like many executives in radio, he worked his way up the ranks including stints on-air, doing college sports play-by-play and in programming, before spending the last decade in sales.

His passion for radio, ability to leverage digital and social media along with his dedication to service and client success are hallmarks of Doug’s career having also worked for Cox Media Group and CBS Radio.
As Vice President of Marketing Strategy for DMR/Interactive, Doug uses the knowledge he gained from his two plus decades working in radio to uncover specific goals of each client, enabling him to create customized campaigns that assist clients in exceeding their goals.

Doug resides in a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife Joanne and their two children: Kyle and Kaitlyn.
